3月28日，在博鳌亚洲论坛2019年年会的大学校长对话：教育的“东、西”融合分论坛上，斯里兰卡科伦坡大学校长、美国伍斯特理工学院教务长在接受南海网记者采访时分别表示，两所大学正考虑和海南的多所大学在多个领域开展合作。

　　On March 28, at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2019, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo and the Senior Vice President and Provost of Worcester Polytechnic Institute said that they are thinking about having cooperation with the universities in Hainan.
